Invercharron Games are held just outside at Bonar Bridge, Sutherland. Bonar Bridge is approximately 40 miles north of Inverness (the capital of the Highlands). The venue is at Balblair Farm Invershin which is 2 miles outside Bonar Bridge, travelling North West towards Lairg (A836). It is a splendid site with beautiful views all around. Coming from Inverness, take the A9 north, then, after crossing the Cromarty Bridge when leaving the Black Isle, about four miles on, take a left turn at the Skiach Services on to the B9176, marked Bonar Bridge and Lairg. This is a shortcut over the Struie Hill, reducing the journey by 12 miles and with one of the best viewpoints in the Highlands.
